Jibe & tack analysis

Turns are detected automatically and classified as jibe or tack from an estimated wind axis. Entry, minimum and exit speed, speed kept and recovery time for every turn.

Turn statistics

Jibes and tacks side by side, split left and right, so you see your strong and your weak side. Your best jibe and best tack, shown on the map.

Race-start countdown

Configurable countdown with sync to the full minute, vibration at every minute and in the last seconds, and the start marked in your activity.

Alerts & auto-pause

Vibration when you beat your best or pass a speed you choose. Auto-pause when you stop, so waiting on the beach never spoils your averages.

Results on the watch

View the results of your last 10 sessions right on the watch. Every turn is a lap in the saved activity, so Garmin Connect shows the full turn table.

Questions

How do I install it?

Open the Connect IQ Store app on your phone, search for “SlalomSurfingPRO”, and install it on your watch. Start it from the watch's app list.

Does it replace the Garmin windsurf activity?

Yes. It records a normal Garmin windsurfing activity (GPS, heart rate, laps) and adds its own values, so everything syncs to Garmin Connect as usual.

How does it tell a jibe from a tack?

It learns the wind axis from how you sail back and forth. Until the wind is known a turn is shown as “turn”; it is re-classified as soon as the wind estimate is confident.

What happens when the beta ends?

The beta no longer starts new recordings after 30 November 2026. Activities already in Garmin Connect and results saved on the watch are not affected.

Product: a digital license for the SlalomSurfingPRO watch app for Garmin watches. The app itself is installed free from the Garmin Connect IQ Store; the license unlocks recording for the period stated at purchase.

Price and payment: the price is shown on this page before purchase, including all taxes. Payment is made by credit or debit card through PayTR's secure payment page. Card details are entered on PayTR's page and never reach us.

Delivery: the license code is sent by e-mail to the address you give at checkout, normally within minutes after the payment is approved. No physical goods are shipped.

Requirements: a supported Garmin watch (listed above) and the Garmin Connect IQ Store app. Please check that your watch is supported before buying.

Use: the app is a training aid. Values are computed from GPS and sensor data and can be inaccurate. Do not rely on it for safety on the water.

Cancellation and refund policy

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by writing to support@slalomsurfing.app with your order e-mail. No reason is required.

If the license does not work on your supported watch and we cannot fix it, you get a full refund at any time during the license period.

Refunds are paid back to the card used for the purchase, through PayTR. Depending on your bank it can take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement. The refunded license code is deactivated.

On the watch

The app records your activity (GPS track, speed, heart rate) on your watch and saves it to your Garmin account through Garmin's own sync. We do not receive your activity data.

When you buy a license

We keep your e-mail address, the order number, the purchase date and the license code, to deliver the license, answer support requests and meet legal record-keeping duties. Card payments are processed by PayTR; we never see or store card details.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for security, deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time (KVKK / GDPR) by writing to support@slalomsurfing.app. We do not sell or share your data with anyone except PayTR for payment processing.
